Committees of the Political Science Forum
The Political Science Forum has a total of twelve (12) Committees, all under the direction and supervision of the President. Four (4) Committees are constitutionally-established, namely: Secretariat, Finance, Programs and Research and Publications. The rest were established by the President with the consent of the Policy Board through the latter's issuance of Resolutions no. 2 to 6. The Committees serve as the executive arm of TPSF, each focusing on their specific mandates and purposes.

SecretariatA constitutionally-established committee under the direction of the President, the Secretariat provides administrative staff to the President, keeps the records, membership rolls, and minutes of the meetings of the organization; takes charge of the press releases of the organization and the promotion and the dissemination of its activities (with the aid of the Committee on Public Relations) and is also charged with the submission of accomplishment reports to the President.

FinanceAlso a constitutionally-established body, the Finance Committee is in-charge of preparing of the budget and governing the finances of the association. It is also in-charge of collecting membership fees and dues; undertaking fund-generating projects; safe-keep the funds of the association; disburse funds with the approval of the President, in accordance with the approved budget; and to prepare and submit financial reports to the President.

ProgramsThe Programs Committee is also one of the four constitutionally-established Committees. It is in-charge of formulating, planning and conducting programs and projects in accordance with the purposes of the association. Programs are not limited to events, and the target audience is internal.

External AffairsThe Committee on External Affairs is in-charge of maintaining relations with organizations, institutions and partners outside the University. It also coordinates with them the projects and programs of TPSF in which our partners can participate.

Research and PublicationsThe Committee on Research and Publications is established by the Constitution in accordance with the association's academic purposes. It is also in-charge of all the publications of the Forum. Thus, it runs 'The Polis,' our official newsletter released every semester, which serves as the mouthpiece and bulletin of the organization. It is also in-charge of the scholarly publication, 'The Assemblea.'

University-wide Projects & AdvocaciesThe University-wide Projects and Advocacies Committee is a special committee created by the President with the consent of the Policy Board. It shall serve as the main mechanism of the Forum in it's commitment to raise Political Awareness in the Thomasian community, in line with TPSF being the sole Political Science organization of UST. The committee is also in-charge of maintaining relations with the different Social Science departments in the University of Santo Tomas, for the purpose of bolstering social science education, specifically those related with Political Science.

Outreach and Community DevelopmentThe Political Science Forum extends a helping hand to our fellow men and women in need, through its Committee on Outreach and Community Development. TPSF sends it volunteers to outreach programs organized by partner organizations and institutions, and also conducts its own Community Development program.

Umbrella Committee on Interest GuildsThe Committee on Interest Guilds is an umbrella committee created by the President with the consent of Policy Board, intended to focus on the needs of its sub-bodies, i.e. The Political Science Debate Team, The Political Thinkers, Critical (The Political Science Official Dance Troupe), Himig (The Political Science Official Chorale), and Visual Arts. It also serves as the guilds' representative to the TPSF Executive Board. Guilds operate under the Committee's supervision.

AuditThis Committee is in-charge of scrutinizing financial statements, making sure all funds are properly disbursed, liquidated, and well accounted.

SportsTPSF is also committed to the physical well-being of its members. Through sports and athletics, TPSF also builds cooperation and goodwill among the political science majors.

Public RelationsThe PR Committee is in-charge of information dissemination and communications. Its services are internal to the members of the Political Science Forum. Under the same Committee, the President, with Policy Board consent, established the IRREGULAR STUDENTS COORDINATING COUNCIL, headed by the Asst. Chairperson 1 for Public Relations.

Alumni RelationsTPSF values its alumni who once were members and officers of the association. Through the Committee on Alumni Relations, TPSF coordinates with the alumni the activities and projects in which they may be invited to participate. The Committee also maintains constant communication with the alumni for the planned grand alumni home-coming.
